How we got these numbers. They are the lowest round-trip fares in the TravelFlow price calendar for trips lasting 7 to 14 days, month by month from November 2026 to October 2027, as recorded on November 6, 2026. These prices come from recent searches by other travelers, so treat them as a guide to price levels, not guaranteed fares.
What do these numbers tell us?
- Thailand's low season isn't cheap from Europe: July and August are the heart of Thailand's rainy season, yet they were the priciest months from Paris ($1,081) and Frankfurt ($1,033 in August), nearly 80% more than in November. European school holidays outweigh the weather.
- November is a sweet spot: it was the cheapest month from London, Paris, Frankfurt and Dubai, and it falls at the start of the cool, dry season, Bangkok's most pleasant weather.
- From Australia, avoid December: a round trip from Sydney started at $754 in December, during Australia's summer holidays, against $462 in March.
- Some routes barely change: from Istanbul, fares stayed between $502 and $570 all year, so you can pick your month by the weather alone.
- From Southeast Asia, Bangkok is a bargain: from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong, round trips started at under $180.

Which Bangkok airport?
Bangkok has two airports. Suvarnabhumi is the main international airport, used by most long-haul flights, and linked to the city centre by the Airport Rail Link in about 30 minutes. Don Mueang mainly serves low-cost regional and domestic flights, and is connected to the city by rail too. Search for "Bangkok" rather than one airport, so you see every option in one list.
How to pay less for your Bangkok flight
- Fly in November if you can: you'll catch the start of the dry season and, from many cities, the lowest fares of the year.
- Avoid your own school holidays: whether that's July and August in Europe or December in Australia, that's when fares from your city peak.
- Consider a connection: on long-haul routes like London to Bangkok, a flight with one stop cost half as much as a nonstop one in our comparison of direct and connecting flights.
- Compare the seasons on other routes: see how much peak months add elsewhere in the cheapest months to fly.
